About Us

Warrior poets was founded on the US server Rivendare, but after much server issues with population faction imbalance, we decided to migrate to US Kil'Jaedan, which we have been on for nearing two years. We have recently emerged from a dormant period to rebuild our core group to 25 man hard mode levels, which has included a very succsessful 10 man group which has progressed deep into ICC.

Mission

Our mission statement is play the class/spec you want to play. We will not force anyone into a situation where they are not comfortable/having fun. Our strong core group has a long lasting relationship through ventrilo and real life encounters, and we have never expeirenced an issue of "Guild Drama" that was caused or participated in by any of our core group.

Raids

Although we are a care-free group when you approach us on the streets on dalaran, when you encounter us in a raid situation, things take a more different tone. We like to approach raiding with a buisness professionalism: We are not the kids that scream at guys for standing in fire. If you screw up, you will know about it, and you will be aware of your mistake and not do it again, but you will not feel threatened or intimidated in any way. This is how we have always led our raids, and even though it is not as strict as some of the hardcore guilds you see every day, we feel it is a more relaxing situation and allows people to focus on the matter at hand, which is downing that boss.

Loot System

We distribute Loot through an EPGP System, which rewards players who are ontime, raid ready and act in a professional matter. Your Effort points (EP) are rewarded to you through these actions. Your Gear Points (GP) accumulate when you get gear, so that the geared players are kept on a even playing field with new recruits.
